Originally from Greenville, Kentucky, I practiced nursing for nine years before becoming a nurse practitioner. I have lived in Hawaii, Florida, Ohio, and California, which has provided a diverse view of medicine and cultural exposure. I have a small zoo at home: two dogs, a cat, and a lizard.
